Just upload any SVG file or paste its code, and you’ll get many tools to optimize and simplify your original shape to gain the extra Octet or Ko.

Note that it worth a lot for complex SVG, but if your SVG comes from a famous icon supplier or similar, you won’t improve much as they already did it.

Also useful to inspect suspicious SVG, as it can contain a bit of anything but shapes and colors.

Technical basis: The page is a graphical front end to SVGO and states that it is powered by SVGO v4.0.0. About 50 toggles cover metadata, comments, hidden elements, number rounding, path merging and style minification.	Technical basis: Illustrator writes SVG from the artwork and offers export options, among them a Minify option that generates code with minimal IDs, indents, lines and spaces. It does not run a post-processing plugin chain comparable to SVGO.	Technical basis: A Python optimizer that cleans and shortens SVG. It offers fewer switches than SVGO and the latest PyPI release listed is 0.38.2 of November 2020.
