Factory Tours
Factory tours are a must. We recommend visiting real factories and having your own observations of processes (go to ‘Gemba -the place where the value is added-), but if far or not available to you, use these videos & articles. The main objective is seeing how products are made: you can gain a greater appreciation for the work that goes into making them, the technologies and steps required, but also its difficulties and why maybe you should choose this or avoid this technology or process in your next product design.
