The free MVP Features Prioritizer™ tool provides a structured interface for listing, categorizing, and organizing features relevant to the development of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). Visualizations such as priority list and matrix display the relationship between core, optional, and backlog items versus effort to develop them. It is intended to be used as a real-time collaboration tool allowing team members to add or update features simultaneously.
Usage
- Enter your MVP features in the input field and the estimated impact (1 to 5) and estimated effort (1 to 5).
- Visualize the classifications, both in the list and in the matrix and negotiate with marketing.
Tips
- Once entered, you can drag and drop each feature in the matrix, changing its impact and effort, thus updating the calculated score and classification.
- Choose between addition or multiplication for the way you want to evaluate Impact versus effort. The “Addition” method also permits to chose for a precise weight ratio.
- It can also serve to prioritize projects, like a simplified Pugh Matrix
