Important notes
- We try to make it as less subjective as possible. No criterion should be taken individually, nor can it alone reach the threshold of 100. This is only the bundle of evidence together that constitutes the argument.
- We do not judge here if one is better than the other. A 1-man governance could be great with a honest and humble man (M. Gandi ?). It is clear that authoritarianism or similar are more “efficient” on the short run (for the good or for the bad). On the other hand, all dictators in the past have claimed that what they did was needed for the benefits and glory of their country.
- Is it scientific ? No. And the more points you get, the less you find it scientific.
- We provide our tool with our subjective criteria, but this your responsibility to apply it, believe it and communicate … or not.
Example: although completely legal and with the agreement of the Assembly, the French General De Gaulle obtaining “full powers” for 6 months in 1958 because of the Algerian crisis would get a “score” here above of at least 45.
