Engineers at work (fun)

Where engineers’ creativity is used to fake work activity. In these times of more and more remote work and home office, of course, we do not recommend any of what you will see here. Just for fun and self-mockery.

Another example of technology evolution is in the first video. You to judge!

The oldest video, at least we know, about faking work. This first method below was a fun TV advert and used the support of some natural friends. Enjoy:

Outback pigeons

Then it became more DIY style:

Mouse mover, keeps corp wfh laptop from sleeping.

Until the moment it became an industrial product(!). Sad :

I just learned what a mouse “jiggler” is... But is it a work from home necessity?

Do you have other “tactics”? Suggest on the right

Interesting read. But dont engineers deserve more credit for their work in maintaining our daily life conveniences? Thoughts?

    2. Gabriel

Is it fair to say engineers not working are still problem-solving in their minds? A break could be productivity in disguise.

      1. Fabrice

Absolutely not! An idle mind doesnt necessarily equate to a problem-solving mind.

    3. Lylah

Interesting read! But does the article imply engineering isnt real work? Seems a bit dismissive of technical skills, dont you think?
