Réseau de neurones à pointes (SNN)

A spiking réseau neuronal (SNN) is a class of brain-inspired artificial neural network that transmits information using discrete, time-dependent spikes rather than continuous activation values. Because it encodes information in spike timing and is naturally event-driven, an SNN can deliver low-latency, low-power computation on neuromorphic hardware, making it attractive for edge product designs like always‑on sensors, robotics, and real‑time control. For research and production teams, SNNs offer opportunities for novel algorithm–hardware co‑design and energy-efficient innovation, but they require specialized training methods, tooling, and integration effort to be productized at scale.
