Our summary: Study investigates optimizing perovskite solar cells with mixed-cation compositions of MA1−xCsxPbI3, finding that MA0.5Cs0.5PbI3 achieves maximum efficiency of 18.53% with Cs doping. Optimal device architecture and layer thicknesses are identified for improved performance.

Monolithically Integrated GaAs Nanoislands on CMOS-Compatible Si Nanotips Using GS-MBE

Abstract: The monolithic integration of III-V semiconductors with silicon (Si) is a critical step toward advancing optoelectronic and photonic devices. In this work, we present GaAs nanoheteroepitaxy (NHE) on Si nanotips using gas-source molecular beam epitaxy (GS-MBE). Abstract: Flexible perovskite solar cells (FPSCs) hold great promise for lightweight and wearable photovoltaics, but improving their efficiency and durability under mechanical stress remains a key challenge. Our summary: Enhanced efficiency and mechanical stability achieved in flexible perovskite solar cells through PEAI surface passivation, leading to improved device performance and durability under mechanical stress. Insights into the Adsorption of Carbon Dioxide in Zeolites ITQ-29 and 5A Based on Kinetic Measurements and Molecular Simulations

Abstract: Understanding the adsorption mechanism is essential for developing efficient technologies to capture carbon dioxide from industrial flue gases. In this work, laboratory measurements, density functional theory calculations, and molecular dynamics simulations were employed to study CO2 adsorption and diffusion behavior in LTA-type zeolites. Our summary: Study of CO2 adsorption and diffusion in LTA-type zeolites using laboratory measurements, DFT calculations, and molecular dynamics simulations. Thermodynamic analysis shows spontaneous and exothermic adsorption with heterogeneous interactions at Ca2+ and Na+ sites. Comparison between zeolites 5A and ITQ-29 reveals differences in adsorption energy and diffusion kinetics.
