Control Systems

Control systems are engineered architectures of sensors, controllers, actuators and communication links that monitor, regulate and drive a product’s dynamic behavior to achieve specified performance and safety objectives. In design and research they rely on mathematical modeling, feedback algorithms and vérification methods (e.g., PID, state-space, adaptive/robust control, model predictive control) to ensure stability, accuracy and robustness against disturbances and uncertainties. In production and innovation they enable automation, fault detection, performance optimization and integration with software/hardware stacks, and are validated through simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing and regulatory compliance to meet reliability and manufacturability requirements.
