Method for manufacturing lmfp composite positive electrode particles

Patent published on the 2026-05-07 in US under Ref US20260128275 by LUO ZHI FENG [CN] (Luo Zhi Feng [cn])

Abstract: [0000] A method for manufacturing LMFP composite positive electrode particles includes the steps of: placing a plurality of lithium ion conductor particles and LMFP particles, a carbon source and a first dispersant into a ball mill for mixing to form a mixed slurry, wherein each of the lithium ion conductor particles formed by a first oxide or phosphate capable of conducting lithium ions, or is formed by a second oxide with a garnet structure or a perovskite structure; then performing a drying o[...]

Our summary: A method for manufacturing LMFP composite positive electrode particles involves mixing lithium ion conductor particles, LMFP particles, a carbon source, and a dispersant in a ball mill. The mixed slurry is dried to obtain mixture powders, which are then sintered in an oxygen-free environment. This process produces a conductive carbon layer on the LMFP particles.

Thermally Fine-Tuned NiOx–MAPbI3 Interfaces Enabled by a Polymeric Surface Additive for High-Sensitivity Self-Powered Photodetectors

Published on 2026-01-30 by HyeRyun Jeong, Kimin Lee, Wonsun Kim, Byoungchoo Park @MDPI

Abstract: Self-powered perovskite photodiodes provide an attractive platform for low-power and high-sensitivity photodetection; however, their performance capabilities are often constrained by inefficient interfacial charge extraction and noise suppression. Here, we report a polymer-mediated interfacial engineering strategy for methylammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3) photodiodes by integrating thermally optimized nickel oxide (NiOx) hole-transport layers (HTLs) with a nonionic polymeric surfactant, poly(oxyet[...]

Our summary: A polymer-mediated interfacial engineering strategy enhances the performance of self-powered perovskite photodiodes. Incorporating thermally optimized nickel oxide and a nonionic polymeric surfactant improves charge extraction and reduces noise. This approach achieves high sensitivity and low noise without compromising dynamic performance.

Performance of CaMn0.625Ti0.125Fe0.125Mg0.125O3 Oxygen Carrier in the Chemical Looping Combustion of Biomass

Published on 2026-01-29 by Yingjie Mi, Wen Luo, Jinchen Ma, Zhenyi Du, Haibo Zhao @MDPI

Abstract: Chemical looping combustion (CLC) has been recognized as a promising CO2 capture technology, in which oxygen carriers (OCs) transport lattice oxygen to the fuel instead of the air. This study aims to evaluate a newly developed perovskite OC for biomass CLC and to clarify the role of staged fuel conversion in improving gas–solid redox efficiency. This is the first application of perovskite OC CaMn0.625Ti0.125Fe0.125Mg0.125O3 in biomass CLC using a dual-stage fluidized bed. The perov[...]

Our summary: This study evaluates the performance of the perovskite oxygen carrier CaMn0.625Ti0.125Fe0.125Mg0.125O3 in biomass chemical looping combustion. The research demonstrates that staged fuel conversion significantly enhances gas-solid redox efficiency, leading to improved combustion efficiency and CO2 yield. Optimal conditions resulted in a maximum combustion efficiency of 79% and a CO2 yield of 82% at specific operational parameters.
