The full repository of all free pre-packaged Kiwix/.zim archives.
Kiwix in a nutshell: Kiwix team, so as available tools makes a local browsable version of any online site (create a “.zim” file of it) and provides the reader for it. This repository helps to find existing public zim archives for most famous online contents.
This searchable repository has prepackaged for you many opensource ressources of great interest and permits a download of small-to-massive content (only the English version of the full Wikipedia is 47Go) in one go under various options (direct download, torrent …).
It has also packaged some of its content into subsections, classified by topics (example: the Project Gutenberg Library has been classified into many archives, from science, technologies, medicine, education, law …).
As a meta resource engine + repository, well classified + well updated = the Kiwix tools + their repository are of exceptional interest
Our only small regret: this repository could include the update date of each archive as the installable Kiwix apps do show.
These archives shall be viewed with the free Kiwix readers, available on all platforms.
Expert Tip: if the desired online ressource is not available in their repository, various tools are available to make your own .zim archive (look for the online ZimIt tool in our directory for example).
