Not the prettiest implementation of Conway’s Game of Life we have seen, but the most featured rich yet easy to use:

  • define your own patterns, or use a library of famous pattern
  • edit / draw / erase any pattern at any step
  • accelerate, back, zoom, …
  • large calculation grid (for an online implementation)

A very good start to learn many of the subtleties of  cellular automaton.
