WITTMANN Technology GmbH is the robotics and automation division of the globally active WITTMANN Group, headquartered in Vienna, Austria. Founded in 1976 by Dr. Werner Wittmann, the company expanded into robotic automation in 1983 and has grown into an international machinery manufacturer supplying automation, linear robots, SCARA robots, and auxiliary systems for industrial plastics processing.

SCARA Robots: High-speed SCARA robots (including W8VS4 and W9VS2 models) configured with vertically arranged kinematics, engineered for cleanroom production down to ISO Class 7, insert loading, and fast part extraction.
Robot Controllers: The proprietary R9 Teachbox control platform with Windows OS, multi-touch interface, and capacity to synchronize up to 12 servo axes with digital/analog I/O expansion.
Linear Robots: W-series and Primus-series Cartesian robots with high-rigidity carbon-fiber or steel construction and payloads spanning from compact micro-molding handling up to heavy parts extraction.
Downstream Automation Work Cells: Modular automated workstations incorporating robotic pick-and-place, vision-based quality inspection, laser marking, sprue cutting, and palletizing.
