Star Rapid was founded in 2005 (initially operating as Star Prototype) by British engineer Gordon Styles. Headquartered in the Torch Development Area of Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, the company operates a 60,000-square-foot manufacturing plant deploying full Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Employing over 250 personnel globally and generating approximately $68.2 million in annual turnover, Star Rapid provides prototype tooling, bridge tooling, high-precision CNC machining, and production-grade plastic injection molding for over 2,400 customers across 60 countries.

  • Advanced Manufacturing: Multi-axis CNC milling and turning (3-, 4-, and 5-axis), metal additive manufacturing via DMLS, pressure die casting, and vacuum casting (polyurethane).
  • Finishing Solutions: Bead blasting, sand blasting, painting, anodizing, silk-screening, and mechanical sub-assembly.
