Roots Cast Private Ltd (RCPL), established in 1984 as part of the Roots Group in Coimbatore, specializes in non-ferrous aluminum and zinc-based alloy die casting. RCPL operates as a one-stop die casting facility offering design, casting, machining, surface finishing, and assembly.

The company holds IATF and ISO certifications and supplies components to automotive, aerospace, defense, healthcare, railways, textile machinery, and consumer goods manufacturers.

Roots Cast provides end-to-end casting and finishing capabilities:

High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC): Automated HPDC machines up to 1,400 tons with real-time shot monitoring systems and thermal imaging cameras for process stability.
Materials: High-purity aluminum and zinc alloys, including certified low-carbon recycled aluminum casting processes.
Complementary Processes: Low pressure die casting (LPDC), permanent mold gravity die casting (GDC), and tilt-pour casting.
Heat Treatment: In-house T5 and T6 precipitation and solutionising heat treatment with automated temperature controls.
Tool Room: In-house CAD/CAM tool design and manufacturing utilizing CNC vertical milling, spark EDM, and wire EDM.
Testing & Inspection: Industrial X-ray inspection, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), auto-gauging, vacuum impregnation, and dry/wet leak testing.
Surface Finishing: Shot blasting, vibratory finishing, powder coating, anodizing, and chromating.
