Electromagnetic Testing Services Ltd (ETS) is an independent UK test house established in 1992, operating from a dedicated two-acre facility in Stebbing near Great Dunmow, Essex. The company delivers specialized EMC testing, certification, advisory, and calibration services across commercial, industrial, transport, and aerospace applications.

ETS holds ISO/IEC 17025 UKAS accreditation for testing (Testing Laboratory No. 4416) and calibration (Calibration Laboratory No. 6742). It is also registered with the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for CFR 47 Parts 15 and 18, and serves as an appointed Technical Service for the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA).

  • EMC Compliance & Pre-Compliance Testing: Comprehensive radiated and conducted emissions and immunity testing in automated chambers accommodating large systems up to two tonnes, supported by customer power supplies ranging from DC to 415 V, 10–150 Hz AC three-phase up to 100 A per phase.
  • Automotive Component Testing & E-Marking: Appointed VCA Technical Service testing for automotive electronic sub-assemblies (ESA) and Separate Technical Units (STU) covering UNECE Regulation 10 Revision 6 (R10.06), e-marking, and OEM automotive electrical profiles such as LV-124.
  • Aerospace & Aviation Testing: Testing of avionics and airborne systems against RTCA standards (including DO-160 electromagnetic compatibility requirements).
  • Antenna Calibration Services: UKAS-accredited calibration from 20 MHz to 18 GHz covering biconical, log-periodic, bi-log hybrid, and horn antennas under free-space, 3 m, 10 m, ARP958, DEF 59-41, and CISPR 16-1-5/6 reference antenna methods.
  • Site Surveys & In-Situ Testing: On-site EMC surveys, EMF assessments, railway equipment verifications, and import/production audit testing.
