Linnaeus University (LNU) is a state university in the Småland region of Sweden. It has two campuses, located in Växjö and Kalmar. The university was established in 2010 by a merger of former Växjö University and Kalmar University College. It is named in honor of the Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus.
Linnaeus University has partnerships with over 500 universities in more than 60 countries. It has close collaborations with companies and organizations in the region, including IKEA.
