Latest News on Bioplastics

Bioplastics are plastics made from renewable biomass sources, such as vegetable fats and oils, corn starch, or microorganisms. Bioplastics can be made from 100% renewable resources -most recent studies-, or for several years already, from a mix of renewable and fossil-based feedstocks, being less eco-friendly but with most of the properties of traditional plastics.
